After  several months at El Paso, I was discharged at Fort Bliss Separation Center on November 28, 1945.  Immediately I bought an American Airlines ticket, and flew home to Rocky Mount, NC on the DC-3 shown below.  As I disembarked, I found my brother Bill making a picture of the plane.  He did not realize I was aboard.  I went to work at the studio on December 1st, 1945.
