He was Airman 2nd class assigned to Teague K-2 AFB in Korea. He primarily was an armorer on F-48 Thunder-Jets at K-2 AFB. He was wounded by a grenade attack on the base 18 Oct. 1952. Wounds in the hand and abdomen. Returned for a second tour of duty at K-13, Suwan working on F-86 Saber-Jets.
