| During the 1920s he served on battleships, destroyers, and carriers during WW II, awarded Legion of Merritt five time, two Bronze Star, Navy Commendations, and was the Antartic Project Officer during the late 1958-1963. During Korean War he was commander of the USS New Jersey BB-62. Retired as rear-admiral. |
