Above is lab Captain Holst with lab sergeant.  About May 1943, I was sent temporarily to Photo School at Lowry Field, Denver Col. for three months as a corporal.  After completion of the course, I returned to SAACC.  A new lab had been built in the meantime, and I served there, with the same personnel, until resent to Denver for further training in January 1944 for one month.  I then returned to SAACC until June 1945.  I was promoted to Sergeant during the intervening time.  I was also qualified by schooling for Staff Sergeant, but no vacancies for higher rates were available.
